24 years ago today, the Chicago Cubs beat the New York Mets 6-4 in the first official MLB night game at Wrigley Field. The previous night, 91-year-old Cubs fan Harry Grossman turned on the lights for the first time, although the Cubs game against the Phillies was rained out after three-and-a-half innings.
